Find the Right Treatment Option for Yourself or Someone You Love

When alcohol use or substance use has reached the point where you’re considering treatment, figuring out what to do next can feel overwhelming.

Do they need detox? Residential treatment? Partial hospitalization or intensive outpatient care? Would a smaller program be a better fit? What if mental health concerns are part of the picture? And how do you know which treatment programs you can actually trust?

You don’t have to figure all of that out on your own.

Cornerstone Life & Recovery Coaching provides independent treatment consultation to help individuals and families understand their options, determine an appropriate level of care, and identify reputable programs that fit their needs.

Treatment Consultation Can Help You:

  • Understand what level of care may be appropriate. We’ll talk through what’s happening and consider whether detox, residential treatment, PHP, IOP, outpatient care, or another form of support may make sense.

  • Identify treatment programs that fit the person, not just the problem. Factors such as mental health needs, age, family involvement, program size, treatment philosophy, location, and other individual circumstances can all matter.

  • Make sense of treatment centers you’re already considering. If you’ve found programs on your own, I can help you evaluate them, ask better questions, and understand what to look for before making a decision.

  • Connect with trusted treatment resources. When appropriate, I can help identify reputable treatment programs and other professionals, including interventionists, therapists, psychiatrists, and recovery support.

Hands in Support

Guidance From Someone Who Knows the Treatment System

Treatment programs can sound remarkably similar when you read their websites or speak with an admissions department. Knowing what questions to ask and what differences actually matter can be difficult when you’ve never navigated the treatment system before.

Before opening Cornerstone, I spent nearly a decade working in inpatient and outpatient dual-diagnosis addiction treatment. I’m also a certified addictions counselor in Maryland, Virginia, and D.C., now practicing as a coach.

That experience gives me an understanding of how treatment works from the inside and allows me to help you look beyond the marketing, understand your options, and make a more informed decision about what comes next.

You may ultimately need treatment. You may need a different level of support. Or you may simply need someone knowledgeable to help you figure out the next right step.

That’s what this consultation is for.

Not Sure Where to Start?

You don't need to know which service you need before reaching out. That's something we can figure out together.
